Shelby Unveils Super Snake Concept And Production F-150
Shelby American, Inc. has debuted their first factory concept car in ten years and it is something special. The 2017 Shelby Super Snake is a wide body version of their 50th anniversary Super Snake and features supercharged Ford 5.0L V8 engine. An upgraded coil over suspension and wheel and tire package work together to ensure that all 750hp are reaching the road. Currently just a concept to be officially revealed to the public at the 5th Annual Carroll Shelby Tribute and Car Show on May 20, 2017; however, Shelby is ready to roll with their F-150 Super Snake street truck.
A total of 150 of these high-performance street trucks will make their way to select dealers throughout 2017. The F-150 will be powered by the same engine as Shelby’s concept Mustang and be producing the same 750hp. Additionally, the truck features numerous changes to the hood, rockers, grills and other exterior elements as well as custom stripes and badges. Available in a two-wheel and four-wheel drive the F-150 Super Snake will set you back just under a cool six figures at $96,880.
